• The Bowery Presents

At The Bowery Presents, most of my duties revolved around helping the marketing department with the management of the company's social media accounts. In addition to the company's general accounts, I helped manage all of the Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts for the five venues they had at the time. I scheduled Tweets and Facebook posts promoting new or upcoming shows. On The Bowery Present's general account, I spent a lot of time running ticket and merchandise giveaways, as well as artist takeovers. While I was at Bowery, I helped the marketing team grow the company's Instagram following by almost 40%.
  • Hope For The Day

From August 2014 through June 2016, I managed the social media accounts for the Chicago-based non-profit Hope For The Day. Through my time at HFTD, I devised social media rollout campaigns for the organization's upcoming sponsored events and initiatives. The social accounts were also used as tools to promote bands that the organization partners with, in addition to posting uplifting and positive content to inspire the organization's mostly-teenage audience. Some of the most important postings I did were informing our audience about the suicide hotline or crisis line to encourage them that they are not alone in whatever they may be feeling or going through.
  • Event Promotions

In addition to maintaining the daily posting schedules at Hope For The Day, I was also in charge of promoting all of the organization's sponsored events and concert tours. This included regular posts of informational event posters and images leading up to the event, and follow up posts about how the event went after it occurred. Promoting events also included creating Facebook events and EventBrite pages to maintain a guest list for the events and for gathering ticket counts, if needed.
